So yesterday, after being given and confirmed our roles, we split up into our individual groups to do what we needed to do. I was put under the Magic group, so basically I have to learn magic from Isaac and we will have to perform it to people during the Learning Festival and hopefully garner enough interest to get people to come and learn some magic tricks from us. I was taught two coin tricks, and managed to practice much yesterday. Magic is kinda cool really, especially with the misdirections and fast hand movements. Of course, it's much more difficult to pull it off in front of other people, and I guess I would have to practice much more in order to be confident with myself. 'Cos it's like, only with confidence in your own ability to pull the trick off, then the trick can really be pulled off succesfully. Can't wait to learn more magic tricks, especially the card tricks!

We did the Stomp thingy again today. =)
We also came up with a few routines. They sound super cool when you put them all together!
Practised for quite some time...
As all of us had to do different beats, it was kind of hard to stay to my own beat. I kept being led away by other beats. Haha.. =p
But when I finally got it, it was fantastic! XD
Even though my hands hurt from hitting the tables or clapping, it was all worth it when I heard all the sounds being put together.
It's also amazing when we can use everyday objects to make different sounds. All in all, it was a really great experience because it required much teamwork and concentration.
And most importantly, we all had fun! XD

Ok, so we learnt pen-tapping just a few days ago.
I thought it was going to be quite difficult at first, especially with the fact that the speed of the pen-tapping was quite fast. Well so I still tried to learn it, and I must say it's quite fun. Although the pen-tapping was quite difficult at first, I felt I kinda got the hang of the first beat after awhile, and could practice to pen-tap faster. Seeing a few of my classmates pen-tap together at the same time, and with a rhythm was real cool, and I'm really looking forward to see how our class performs together during Learning Fest. It should be really good, and add that with the beatboxing the other guys are going to learn, I have a good feeling everything added together will sound very nice. =)

Yeah...I tap my pen when I'm stuck at a very problematic math question. However, I never thought that one day I would be learning how to tap a pen to a beat! It's really kinda cool and funky when you see a group of people tappin' their pens to the same beat and making awesome tunes. Well, I can't wait to see 09S23 perform our pen-tappin' soon to the school on Learning Festival. There will also be beat boxing! It's gonna be a more tricky task to achieve. We only have 2 weeks to master the basics but we'll try our best!

Somebody should have taken a video of us doing pen-tapping! It was so cool when we did it together! =D
Ouch! But my hand kind of hurt after that.
We also organised what we're going to do and who were the main buskers. Thanks Mai for helping out! XD

Hey guys! =)
Remember we're staying back after Sports day tomorrow to practice STOMP-ing! Just bring pens for the pen-tapping thingy and any household items you think will be suitable for STOMP. =)
We'll probably take about 1 hour? Plus minus.
And Jiayous for all the runners tomorrow! Bring glory to 09s23! XD
